Calling all Gattonians during 1946-1952

We need your help to pull together some information during 1946-1952.

Calling all Gattonians during 1946-1952.
We are looking for any information you could share with us during this time period.  For example, can you remember what subjects were covered, how was Christmas and Easter celebrated, were there any major event hosted etc.  Can anyone remember the school days out like The Air Show at Farnborough, the Motor Show and the Royal Tournament both at Earls Court?
One story we would like to hear about was the Army Cadet passing out parade where the Field Marshal Sir Claude Auchinleck attended.
We would appreciate any feedback regarding your time during this period.  Many thanks
