RAAS Medical Society

Are you a doctor, vet, or dentist and want to give back? Our pupils have just set up MedSoc and would love to hear from you.

School News
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am a student of Royal Alexandra and Albert School, and am involved in the coordination of our MedSoc. This is a new society and has been created for students who are keen to pursue a career in medicine, dentistry or veterinary science professions.

We are writing to you as Alumni to our school to find out if you have involvement in a relevant career (past or present) and might be willing to come in to the school to meet with a group of students to discuss your experience. We would be happy to be led by you on the topic of discussion but suggestions could be your days in university; the type of work experience you took part in; your current or past roles and what they entail; any advice you would be willing to pass on to us to support our goals.
We are currently a small group of students but we are hoping to role some of the opportunities out to bigger groups but this is completely dependent on your individual preferences as we appreciate not everyone is comfortable talking to larger groups. Any help you are able to give would be gratefully received.

If you are able to help, please email
Thank you for taking the time to read our email,
Best wishes
Ikeola, on behalf of MedSoc
